Napoleonic French Imperial Guard Foot Artillery laying 12-pdr

The 12-pounder was the heavy gun, ideally used offensively to break open formations as a prelude to foot attack, and was used to deadly effect by their very capable crews. Stout and resolute, the gunners would fight ferociously if their precious guns were threatened.
